Start this hike in the village of Finhaut. Walk to the end of the village and continue on the path in the forest. Follow the signs towards Emaney. You will enter the valley and start the ascent through scree fields. Cross the bridge and continue on the gravel road until you reach the mountain huts of Emaney. Walk back until you reach the bridge. Instead of crossing the bridge, continue along the gravel road towards Les Marécottes.
