This round trip takes you to the Cleuson dam and then further up through alpine landscapes to the Lac du Grand Désert.

Take the chairlift from Siviez to La Tsa. Start your hike here and follow the path along the Bisse de Chervé. Soon you will have a view of the Cleuson dam. Keep walking on the upper path, passing Lake Cleuson. Cross the little wooden bridge and start the ascent to the Lac du Grand Désert. Go back down the same way, have a little rest at the Cabane St. Laurent. Stay on the lower path and go along Lake Cleuson until you reach the dam. Walk over the dam wall and continue down to Siviez.
