This long one-way hike takes you from Savognin to Bergün, passing through the wonderful Parc Ela, over impressive mountain passes and past beautiful lakes.

Catch a ride from Savognin to Tussagn to start this hike. Pass by some mountain huts and Anita’s Alpstübli before starting the ascent through the Alpine meadow until you reach the mountain lake Lai Tigiel. Now it gets very steep and rocky up to the distinctive Pass digls Orgel (the Organ Pass). Instead of going down the direct way on the other side, turn right and hike over the big rocks until you reach Pass Ela. Enjoy the wonderful view into the valley on the mountain lakes. This is where the long ascent starts. Follow the signs towards Bergün until you reach the mountain hut Chamona d’Ela. Get a fresh beverage and recharge your batteries before you start a last short ascent. Walk through the meadows on the plateau and go down through the forest until you reach the village of Bergün.
