Take the train from Montreux to Caux. Here, your hike starts in the direction of Rocher-de-Naye. Walk to Haut-de-Caux and continue towards Liboson d’en Haut. Ascend steadily to Le Creux à la Cierge and further up to Rocher-de-Naye. Have a rewarding drink in the restaurant at the peak and enjoy the view of the Lac Léman as well as of the innumerable mountain peaks around you. The next train will bring you back down to Montreux.
Hint: With a little bit of luck you will see some marmots in the park on the Rocher-de-Naye.
