Your hike starts at the parking lot “Sattel”. Follow the signs towards Chalet du Soldat. The path will go up steadily and you will have a great view on the Gastlosen. Once you are at the Chalet du Soldat, follow the signs up to Wolfs Ort. This spot is perfect for a lunch break with a panoramic view of the Alps. Continue the hike by taking the path to Grat. First, cross the meadows at the foot of the Gastlosen before descending through the forest. Once you reach Chalet Grat, the path goes mostly through the forest until Musisbergli station. From there, follow the gravel road until the parking lot “Sattel”.

Hint: If you don’t want to drive up the narrow road to Sattel, park your car at Gastlosen Talstation in Jaun and take the chair lift to start the hike at the mountain station Musisbergli.
