This spectacular one-way hike takes you from Maloja to Bivio over the Lunghin pass, Europe’s special triple watershed and the Septimer pass, which used to be one of the most important transit routes for the ancient Romans.

This hike starts at Maloja with a direct ascent along the mountain stream Inn up to the Lunghin Lake. Take a little break before continuing up to the Lunghin pass, where each water drop decides whether it goes to the Black, North or Mediterranean Sea. Descend to the Septimer pass and walk down the ancient Roman route. The last part goes along a mountain stream, passing by some houses until you reach Bivio.
