Take the cable car from Saas Grund to the station Kreuzboden. Next to the station, a purple sign shows you the direction to the Weissmies mountain hut. Purple poles along the track will guide you up the hill. After a short break at the Weissmies mountain hut, continue along the path guided by the purple poles until you reach the mountain station Hohsaas. Admire the view before you take the cable car down to Saas Grund.

Hint: If you like to enjoy a night in the snowy mountains, stay at the Weissmies mountain hut (reservation needed in advance) and continue your snowshoe hike the next morning.
